Today, we're expanding our file preview experience with support for Microsoft Word documents. Users can now securely preview DOCX files directly within the SendSafely Previewer, making it faster and easier to review package contents without leaving the browser.
DOCX preview support is currently available in the following locations:
- SendSafely Web Portal
- Mobile
- Workspaces
- Zendesk agent app
Previews are available for documents up to 10 MB in size and original documents can be securely downloaded at any time. Google Docs uploaded from Google Drive can also be previewed using the same experience.
The preview experience is optimized for the most common document formatting scenarios. Because Microsoft Word supports a wide variety of advanced layout and formatting features, some complex elements may not render exactly as they appear in Word. DOCX previews include a notice reminding users that downloading the original file provides the highest-fidelity viewing experience.
