The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) imposes additional requirements for companies that collect, store, or process personal data of European Union residents. At SendSafely, we understand the importance of keeping your personal data safe, and we are committed to secure and protect it whenever it is stored in our platform.

In preparation for GDPR, we’ve taken several steps to ensure we are fully compliant:

  • Our internal policies and procedures have been reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with the new GDPR standards.
  • Our Privacy Policy has been updated to describe the data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it clear and easy to understand language.
  • We have engaged with all of our third party service providers to ensure we have the appropriate contractual protections in place and to confirm they will meet or exceed the new requirements of GDPR by the enforcement date.
  • For SendSafely enterprise customers that are impacted by GDPR, we have created a GDPR compliant Data Processing Addendum (DPA) that contains revised terms and additional provisions for protecting personal data transferred through our platform.
